16 refugees are granted citizenship in Tanzania

Tanzania is the only country in Africa that has granted citizenship to 162,000 Burundian refugees, 30,000 Rwandan and 10,000 Somali Bantus.
The representative of the World Refugee Organization in Tanzania, Mahoua Parums has thanked the Government of Tanzania for cooperation on refugee issues in the internal meeting when he met with the Deputy Permanent Representative of Geneva, Ambassador Hoyce Temu @hoycetemu at the Offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
